Poof. Career I worked so hard for- GONE. Well, it’s obvious I didn’t lose my job or my career, but sitting in front of a nursing panel and then being deposed by attorneys- I’m surprised I didn’t pee my pants through all of that. That is literally the moment I realized just how integrated medicine and law are.

And from then on, I was curious. But, I thought it was too good to be true and moved into leadership instead.

I LOVED this role. Being able to inspire so many nurses, new and seasoned, helping departments attain awards and become profitable.

BUT… I still had to make sacrifices. And that’s when I revisited the idea of legal nursing.

JUST LIKE many of you, I thought I needed a certification, because, well- as nurses that’s kind of what we are taught.
So I took some LNC courses. It never crossed my mind that I became a burn nurse and a trauma nurse without having a certification, so why couldn’t I become a legal nurse without one? I missed that part.

After thousands of dollars spent, I was headed nowhere. I decided I needed a mentor. I personally needed some help. If I was going to learn how to run a business, I needed to clear my head. I needed to understand why I wasn’t able to take all those skills I already obtained from roles in my career and mold them to benefit me in my LNC business.

And I bet you can guess exactly what happened next- Yep! (snap) Just like that- an LNC business like I hadn’t dreamed of.

Making hundreds of thousands. I literally changed NOTHING about my business model or my method of marketing, or how I generated reports, or billed… The only thing that changed was ME!

And here I was… right in the middle of the 2020, making more than ever. You want to know why I believe so much in coaching and in this field? Why I started my own mentorship?

I wanted to give nurses all the support and guidance I wasn’t offered in my LNC courses.
